Sick track man, love the touch of blues this song gives off, that, with the undercurrent of indie rock just makes for a very original sound. Great arrangement too.
The only thing I would suggest in my opinion is to liven up the drums, they sound dull; awesome beat but the drum quality just isn't there. Old kit? If you still have the original tracks I think it could be crisped up. Of course, that's unless you went for that sound, in which case, disregard me.
What happened to the project? Still together?
about the drums
I played all the intruments so I must apologize as I am not really a drummer. Additionally, it was played on a four piece kids drum set thats like 20 years old. It needs to be bigger, as it lacks much punch going through and out of the chorus.
Thanks for the critique, man. It's really good to get some honest feedback.

What a great song-wish I had written that one. How did you record the vocals?
I recorded like this...
straight up dynamic mic, with a touch of overdrive following compression. thanks for the comment, much appreciated.
