Funny what ends up coming out of a guitar on a lunch hour. Whatever I ate on my break that lead me to play that solo is worth writing down. I don't know what the hell I played there, but I like it.

So is it Lennon or Mayer? I've never heard either of the tracks referenced in these comments, but now I'm curious. Many songs have been written time and time again, and just because I wrote, and I did write, this progression - does not mean its a copy.

The lyrics - whenever they come around - bass, drums, and other layers can make this progression completely different than anything else out there. And thats why this riff is here, so others may help to develop that feel.
